IMS Pro A/V Press Releases

Winter 2009/2010 - Winter in New York, where our main headquarters is located, often brings snow but this year snow storms have been few and far between while our website has brought in an ongoing storm of new customers from around the world.
Current Trends -
Audio for video/post applications and live sound for houses of worship, theater and various commercial applications have been very strong verticals. The studio/recording market has downsized over the past few years but growth in this vertical can be seen with the purchases and upgrades of computers, software, control surfaces, recoding interfaces and microphones. Studio furniture has been added to many home based studios as a way to organize the work space in addition to bringing in a professional look and feel. Room treatment kits have become popular as way to improve what is being heard during the mix, while some have contracted IMS Pro A/V to design custom solutions to make the "home" environment as professional as possible.

Jimmy asked IMS Pro A/V to provide a simple way to take both the hardware and software he was already using, such as the Garritan Sound Libraries, and assist in improving his systems overall functionality. December 9, 2008 - St. Matthias Episcopal Church, Monument, CO - Congregations all over the country are more aware then ever how important it is to have both quality and clarity in a small sound system, especially in these times of tighter budgets. St. Matthais came to IMS Pro A/V to fill this very need. The new, simple to use, system consists of QSC ’s HPR122i, 12" - 2 Way Powered Loudspeaker known for it’s high quality sound with outstanding speech intelligibility paired with a Allen & Heath ZED 22FX, 16 Input Mixing Console with EFX and USB, a Denon/Marantz PMD560 Digital Rack Mount Stereo Recorder and Sennheiser’s EW135G2 Dynamic Handheld and EW112G2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphones.  Longer unbalanced signal runs for band members are common in many situations and were acheived through the use of Rapco-Horizon DB-1 Passive Direct Boxes. All of which worked like a charm.
