Client Tribute Doc Cavalier

Thomas "Doc" Cavalier was a pioneer. He was sharp, witty and aside from being a long time client of IMS Pro A/V, purchasing countless items for his recording facility Trod Nossel Studios in Wallingford, CT., he will be remembered most as a devoted man to his family and to all the friends he touched throughout his 71 years.

Doc possessed a wonderful sense of humor which he brought to all of us when he would make no less than three calls per week to our offices.  As the years past Doc and Matt , CEO of IMS Pro A/V established a close lasting bond.  "His wisdom and insights on just about any subject always brought forth a new and refreshing perspective" states Matt.

Professionally, Doc started out as an oral surgeon. Shortly there after, he realized his true calling that would touch the lives of many artists. He fostered their careers through his own AR (Artist & Repertoire) company, Trod Nossel Artists.

The people that recorded at the studio over the years were a very eclectic mix. A sampling of the industry powerhouse musicians and bands included: Chick Corea, Fleetwood Mac, Robert Goulet, Donovan, Steppenwolf, Aztec Two Step, David Broomberg, Mick Jagger, Joe Cocker, Marshall Crenshaw, Southside Johnny, Taj Mahal, The Chiffons and the Yale University Choir.

We started this new business venture, our website, with the full support of Doc just before he took ill in 2004. "So Doc...just like eagles, we both soar. Thank you!"
