News at DUY: An open letter from Xavier Sanchez-Roemmele

Dear DUY friends,
Over the past few months, we have been working hard on many new “goodies” and we have made a step forward in improving the services to our customers. I would like to explain them to you in these lines.
First of all, we have dedicated the necessary resources to turn our Support team into a high quality service which I have the pleasure to manage as from today. What changes can you expect to see immediately? First of all, a ticket-based Support system which will allow us to have a complete and detailed record of all your questions to us, and which will accelerate all responses and help us help you better. This system is online as from today at www.duysupport.com. I personally commit to a reply to any question within 24 hours. Our office hours for Support questions by phone (through our USA or UK phones) have also been extended. Also, the Support website will be expanded in the next weeks with a growing Knowledgebase area that will answer to most of the usual questions we receive from users.
I can also inform you that you will be getting excellent news from us on July 15th. On that date, we will be releasing Windows-7 versions of our software, as well as Venue versions. But that’s not all! There will be some extra surprises that you can’t even imagine. I’m sure you’ll love them! Wait! There’s more!! We have a brand new plug-in to be released in August. Take a deep breath!!!
We are also dedicating great efforts to improve our Downloads page. You can expect to get news from us also during the month of August. Users will soon be able to access and manage their account in order to download their software, instead of going through the current system, which isn’t at all user-friendly. We will also allow for instant iLok license delivery, avoiding any downtime at all.
So, in summary, what’s coming up now?: We have a new plug-in to be released in August, Win7 Venue versions of our current software available in mid-July (plus extra great “goodies”), a brand new Support website and, at last, a website where users can download the software and download licenses instantly onto their iLok.
We’re all very excited about all these positive improvements and releases arising during the next few weeks. We hope you enjoy them all!
