The company has retained Direct Red Media, a PR Marketing firm based in Cambridge, England to further serve the international marketplace. Direct Red Media principals Matt Bell and Nick Dimes will join Margaret Sekelsky and MSMedia, the agency handling QSC’s global public relations, in providing the company with a worldwide public relations and marketing solutions. “The combined services of MSMedia and Direct Red Media represent a major step forward for QSC in terms of growing our global brand,” states Ray van Straten, QSC Director of Marketing Communications. “Our rapid expansion in the EAME regions necessitates that we provide levels of media support equal to the demand that growth generates. Nick Dimes is well known in the world of pro audio and broadcast marketing, having begun his career in audio equipment hire in London in the 1980s. He founded his first marketing consultancy in 1998, and led two successful PR companies at Directorship level, before joining forces with Matt’s agency Direct Red Media in 2008.
Matt Bell was a key Editorial staff member at the UK-based international recording magazine Sound On Sound for over a decade, rising to the position of Managing Editor at the title for his final three years. He founded PR and technical writing agency Direct Red Media in 2006.
