Hot on the heels of the updated version of Metal Slug 3, SNK Playmore has released another classic shooter onto the App Store in the form of Blazing Star, a side scrolling shooter that’s been a fan favourite for an age.
Like Metal Slug before it, Blazing Star features a new Mission Mode, that lets you play through the levels in any order, practising before trying to set a high score in the Arcade Mode. There are six different spaceships to master, each with their own unique set of weapons.
Ontop of that there’s a bluetooth co-operative mode that lets you team up with your friends and fly sorties against the evil invading aliens.
Blazing Star is available from the App Store right now for $2.99, and you can pick up a copy by following the download link at the bottom of the page.
