It looks like Acer’s upcoming Iconia Tab A110 is going to ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, not 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich like had been first reported.

An ebuyer.com listing spotted by tabletblog.de clearly states that the device will run Google’s latest operating system, which is certainly a boon for anyone considering picking one up.

The tablet, which is set to fit into the ever increasing bracket of smaller form devices, doesn’t have a firm release date or price yet, but most people are expecting to retail for around the $200 mark, putting it in direct competition with Google’s Nexus 7.

It features a 7inch, 1024×600 display, a 1.2ghz Tegra 3 quad core processor, 1gig of RAM and 8gig of internal storage. Whilst those stats aren’t as impressive as the Nexus 7, the Iconia Tab A110 also comes with an HDMi port and a MicroSD slot, two things Google’s offering lacks.

We’ll keep you updated with any information as it comes through.
