Available in standard and tensioned versions, Da-Lite’s Cosmopolitan® Electrol® is ideal for applications where a recessed electric screen installation is not desired or feasible.

The Cosmopolitan® Electrol® features a patented in-the-roller motor mounting system for quiet operation, and an aesthetically pleasing, white painted case blends with any decor.

The Cosmopolitan® is available with Da-Lite’s full line of front projection self-supporting screen surfaces and the Tensioned Cosmopolitan® is available with any of Da-Lite’s front or rear projection flexible screen surfaces.

As an alternative to the white enclosure, seven veneer finishes are also available as options for a warm, elegant look. Veneers options include Honey Maple, Medium Oak, Heritage Walnut, Mahogany, (bottom row) Light Oak, Natural Walnut, Cherry.

Veneer enclosures with Honey Maple, Light Oak and Medium Oak finishes include white end caps. Veneer enclosures with Cherry, Mahogany, Natural Walnut and Heritage Walnut finishes include black end caps.

Other options for the Cosmopolitan® Electrol® include the floating mounting brackets, which allow the Cosmopolitan® to be mounted onto wall or ceiling studs and aligned left or right after installation by releasing two sets of screws. The floating mounting bracket is available in black or white. Veneer can also be added to match a Cosmopolitan® with a veneer case.

Da-Lite’s wide Multi-Media Lectern provides a platform to deliver a complete computer-based presentation; yet its’ design is simple, clean and stylish.

Da-Lite’s standard configuration is available with various options, and our custom configurations meet just about any need. 32″ and 42″ wide units are available in the Concord style; 32″, 42″ and 48″ wide units are available in the Lexington style, and 42″ and 48″ wide units are available in the Providence style.

The monitor shelf can accommodate up to a 15″ diagonal monitor on the 32″ and 42″ wide units and a 17″ monitor on the 48″ wide unit. The keyboard shelf has a fixed height pullout with a fold-down door so keyboard can be concealed when not in use.

Equipment shelves are adjustable to store a CPU or other equipment. An optional rack mount can be installed for other components. Hinged reading surface allows access to monitor and routing cords.

Finishes on the Multi-Media Lectern include both veneers and laminates. Da-Lite’s standard veneers include Cherry, Mahogany, Light Oak, Natural Walnut, Medium Oak, Honey Maple and Heritage Walnut. Standard laminates include Cherry, Mahogany, Gunstock Walnut, and Light Oak.

Da-Lite this week announced the expansion of its’ Da-Plex and Da-Glas rear projection screen product family to include 16:10 format sizes.

Wide Format PC‘s and laptops are becoming increasingly popular, and 16:10 format is rapidly becoming the display standard for the computer industry.  Following this trend, manufacturers have developed projectors with resolutions of 1280×800 and 1920×1200, both of which are 16:10 Wide Format aspect ratio.

Polacoat^® rear projection screens are the latest addition to Da-Lite’s range of 16:10 Wide Format screen models, which also include electric, manual, fixed-frame and Fast-Fold^® portable projection screens.

Angles of Reflection is a series of articles written by Da-Lite which reviews the best practices for designing and specifying visual displays coupled with application basics for today’s challenging system designs.

In January, Adam Teevan wrote an article that revisits some of the basics of projection, by addressing the fundamental concept of the projection screen. In this article, Adam discusses:

Da-Lite offers the most advanced line of screen controls for electric screens in the industry. Ranging from simple button controls to Ethernet-enabled position-aware controllers, Da-Lite has the solution that best suits the requirements of its customers.

ISC, or Integrated Screen Control, is Da-Lite’s line of RS-232 controllers. Incorporating the SCB-100 and SCB-200, these controllers accommodate control from computers and control systems and are available with an Ethernet adaptor.  The SCB-200 provides advanced functionality, such as “lower by 4 inches” commands.

RF remote controls allow control of Da-Lite screens through radio frequency remote controls, which support greater distances and transmission through walls from a handheld remote.

IR remote controls allow for line-of-sight control of Da-Lite screen between the handheld remote and the in-room receiver. This low-cost approach provides basic functionality for wireless control of electric screens.

RF remote controls allow control of Da-Lite screens at greater distances and transmission through walls from a handheld remote.

Low voltage control (LVC) solutions allow for control from the included wall switch or from a dry contact closure from a control system or building automation system. For applications that do not need a Da-Lite wireless remote control, this low-cost solution is ideal for integrated environments that do not require more advanced control functionality.

Da-Lite’s Video Projector Interface allows power control of a Da-Lite screen when the connected projector is powered on or off. If you desire use of the projector manufacturer’s remote control with an electric screen, the Video Projector Interface simplifies the integrated system by tying the screen position to power state on the projector.

Da-Lite’s new Advance CT-NS42 Netbook Charging and Storage Cart was designed specifically to address the requirements of educational computing environments. This Netbook Charging and Storage Cart provides the fastest and most efficient solution for charging and storing netbook computers.

Da-Lite’s Acoustical Imager® is a revolutionary projection screen that marries a fixed frame screen with 5.1 Surround Sound. Left, center and right front speakers are integrated into the frame with two table or floor-mounted satellite speakers.  Surround sound is provided by JBL and is upgradeable to 6.1 or 7.1 configurations.

The CT-LS20 and CT-LS30 are mobile solutions for recharging and storing up to 30 laptop computers for secure storage and recharging with the optional power strips.

The CT-LS20 accommodates up to 20 laptops, while the CT-LS30 accommodates up to 30. Additionally, the laptop cell partitions can be removed individually to create lockable storage for a printer or server device. Ventilation is achieved with perforations on sides and top and bottom of both units.

The CT-LS20′s 23.25″ x 30″ and the CT-LS30′s 22” x 44” top shelves have a ½” lip on three sides to support a printer and server device.

Both the CT-LS20 and CT-LS30 ship partially assembled and include a standard Dove gray powder coated finish.
